Man, 85, arrested following sudden death of woman

An 85-year-old man has been arrested following the sudden death of a woman in Bangor.

The woman was aged in her 80s.

Police were at the scene of the incident in the Hawthorne Court area late on Monday.

Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death continue and the man remains in custody, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said.
