After forming at university as teenagers, London Grammar
have quietly become one of the UK’s most successful bands. They started their set on the main stage about five minutes ago.
Over the last decade, they’ve sold three
million albums, two of which went to number one in the UK.
And in 2021, they
joined tonight’s headliners, Coldplay, on their Music Of The Spheres tour.
Built around frontwoman Hannah Reid’s soaring, colourful voice, they’re the perfect band for a drizzly Sunday afternoon – with their hushed, stuttering house beats providing a much-needed antidote to the grey skies.
Their performance comes ahead of the release of their fourth album, The Greatest Love, in September.
Expect to hear the new singles House and Kind Of Man mixed in with classics like Strong and Hey Now.
